RecoverPasco
Prepare Together.  Rebuild Stronger.
Recent Update from Board President/Chairman ProTem JW Davis - Hello everyone!
Just wanted to share an important development in the disaster preparedness
and recovery community in Pasco County.  Recently, PascoRebuilds Together!
and its networks of Pasco Recovery Coalitions
and Organizations merged to form “RecoverPasco.org"

RecoveryPasco is a collective of community, interfaith, business, and government organizations actively working together to ensure Pasco County IS prepared and CAN recover from a local disaster.

RecoverPasco is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that will work together with Pasco County Emergency Management to ensure that the nonprofit community is prepared and can recover post-disaster and that our citizens can rebuild as good as before.  Our goal is working with local, state, and federal organizations before, during and after a disaster.

Working with local, state, and federal organizations before, during and after a disaster in Pasco County, requires highly-skilled and dedicated volunteers from agencies like yours to support Pasco County residents.  This work also requires a strong network of partners and strong community relationships that support one another to ensure a more comprehensive, cohesive, and rapid response after a disaster strikes.

Coming Soon...New Board of Directors Will Be Approved - In a near future meeting, a new slate of Recover Pasco Board of Directors will be approved.  The new slate is coming together as follows: JW Davis, President & Chairman, David Cruz, Vice-Chairman, Kelly Miller, Senior Advisor, Secretary:, Treasurer:,

Tampa Bay Cares volunteered to contact all other board members to schedule the first meeting. The meeting is tentatively scheduled for June 20, 2018.

Recover Pasco Working To Get its 501-c-3 Reinstated - We will be working with the Disaster Recovery Leadership Network (DRLN) and Pasco Recovery Organizations Under Disaster (PROUD), to reinstate the 501-c-3 recently held by PascoRebuilds Together!  It  lapsed due to a filing error.  We will work with the IRS, to have the 501-c-3 status reinstated as soon as possible.   A nominating committee will be put together and given the task of nominating a slate of Board of Directors members within 45 days.  During the transition, new officers will be voted in for the next 90 days.
